After a record in 2011, “Reflets”, which was rewarded with the French Record Prize by the Académie du Jazz, 2019 was marked by a new encounter between the Michel El Malem Group and the American pianist Marc Copland.
With a music that is part of an open and contemporary jazz, it was natural for the band to turn for its new album to a pianist poet and colorist like Marc Copland.
